Clinical Activities

Clinical activities take place at three hospitals (Emory University Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital and Atlanta VA Medical Center) with core faculty based at each facility.  These hospitals represent varied patient populations which allow our faculty, fellows and residents to experience Endocrinology in many forms.  While all areas of Endocrinology are covered, our faculty have special interests in diabetes, osteoporosis, metabolic bone diseases, nutrition, obesity, thyroid diseases and pituitary disorders.  All told our faculty provides inpatient consults and outpatient care through 30,000 endocrine-metabolic visits per year.
