Education:

The population of people 60 years of age and older is the fastest growing age group in our world today.  Almost half of the present population of the United States is expected to live at least to 80 years.  Our mission is to train the both present and future leaders of medicine with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet this demographic challenge.

The educational programs of the Emory Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology are as exciting and varied as our faculty.  Our programs reach and engage students, house officers, fellows, faculty and our community. Whether in homes or hospitals, clinics or nursing homes, hospice or subacute care, our skilled faculty of geriatricians can offer you an exciting education experience practicing in the full continuum of care.

We hope you will take the time to explore our educational Web site. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions about our programs and education opportunities.
