Biography
Received Master of Public Health degree in 2006 from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Previous work and research in HIV/AIDS prevention. Currently researching empowerment techniques for patients with diabetes to become more involved and invested in their diabetes care. Interested in social, economic, cultural and mental health factors related to diabetes self-management.
