Targeting inflammation using salsalate for type 2 diabetes

For Type 2 (adult-onset) Diabetics

Purpose

To determine the tolerability and effect of salsalate on glycemic control in diabetes and to determine the effects of salsalate on measures of inflammation, the metabolic syndrome, and cardiac risk.
