Evaluation of pancreatic transplantation on glucose and insulin homeostasis and insulin counter-regulation. Characterization of insulin/glucose homeostasis defect associated with the development of diabetes in individuals with a 10.4 kb mitochondrial DNA deletion and nerve deafness.
