The Department of Medicine Faculty Development Committee believes Medicine Grand Rounds to be an important avenue for sharing ideas and building community. DOM Grand Rounds should enable discovery, promote education, and facilitate the best patient care possible.
The Grand Rounds subcommittee is charged with reviewing and revitalizing the current Grand Rounds structure. A survey was sent out to faculty to gather information on topics, timing, logistics and scheduling, etc. Based on all compiled information, a set of recommendations has been proposed and the subcommittee is ready to move ahead with those.
In January 2010, Grand Rounds will move to noon on Tuesdays. Additional information will be forthcoming soon.
