Basic Concepts of Infectious Diseases (“Didactic”) - provides the ID fellow with formal instruction in infectious diseases—both information that might not be encountered during clinical rotations as well as important information on clinical conditions that is useful in the care of patients. The course includes a general review of basic science methods, antibiotic mechanisms of action and resistance, infectious disease syndromes, and infectious agents.
Didactic takes place Thursday mornings at 7am at the Rollins School of Public Health, Grace Crum Rollins Building room 864, unless otherwise notified by email. Attendance is limited to ID & Related Programs Fellows. |
