MICROBICIDE Investigational microbicide gels have also been developed
as a potential prevention method for vaginal transmission of HIV. This study attempts to evaluate the safety and acceptability of
the microbicide gel. Microbicides work by killing the HIV virus;
by creating a barrier to prevent the virus from entering the body;
or by preventing the virus from taking hold once inside the body.

YELLOW FEVER VIRUS VACCINE STUDY Is the Yellow fever vaccine part of your travel requirements? If so, you can help by volunteering to participate in this study. The study will last approximately three months. Study Volunteers will be eligible to receive the Yellow Fever vaccine along with the International Certificate of immunization. Study volunteers may also receive the vaccine at their doctor’s office and present for post-vaccination blood draws at the Hope clinic. More Information
MUMPS Help us solve a medical mystery on college campuses… Did you know that there have been recent outbreaks of mumps on college campuses? No one really knows why. Participate in our study to help discover the answers. What’s involved - 1 study visit at the Student Health Center or Hope Clinic for blood draw • You will need to complete a survey • You will receive $50 for time and travel expenses.
